Gonzalo Javier

Gonzalo Javier is a Chilean musician, producer and sound designer based in Santiago. He has been active in the experimental and post-punk underground since the early 2000s, participating in multiple projects that explore the intersection of electronic textures, industrial rhythms and raw guitar-driven composition.

As the sole creative force behind SIVL, Gonzalo handles all aspects of production — from writing and arrangement to mixing and visual direction — creating a tightly controlled aesthetic that carries through every release and live performance.

Outside of SIVL, he has collaborated with artists across Latin America in the fields of contemporary music, sound art and audiovisual performance. His work is characterised by a commitment to sonic extremity balanced with melodic restraint.
